About Families’ mission is to educate families on the emotional, mental, and physical experiences involved during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. About Families creates a village of support through classes, groups and events. They are a 501(c) non-profit organization.
Mariposa Parent-Child Workshop is a cooperative preschool for children, 2-5 years old, and their parents. Mariposa is designed for a diverse community of families with parents who want to be actively engaged in their child's preschool development. Guided by child-development professionals, parents are encouraged to explore with their child while simultaneously expanding their own parenting skills. By working and learning together cooperatively a true community is formed and, subsequently, a support system and social network. Mariposa Parent-Child Workshop is a program offered by About Familes, Inc.
My Gym Palm Desert has developed an extraordinary program and facility devised to help children 6 weeks thru 8 years of age develop physically, cognitively and emotionally. We offer structured, age-appropriate, weekly classes that incorporate music, dance, relays, games, special rides, gymnastics, sports and more. Children have loads of fun as they gain strength, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility while developing social skills, confidence and self-esteem. Our state-of-the-art facility, extensively trained staff, award-winning class programs, and excellent student/teacher ratio have earned My Gym the reputation as the best early learning program of its kind.
